Problem Note 56550: SAS® Studio Mid-Tier enterprise edition times out after 12 hours even if a longer time-out interval has been set

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The time-out interval for SAS Studio Mid-Tier is limited to 12 hours even if a longer time-out interval is set. This is caused by a setting in the middle tier.

Two other issues in SAS Studio that affect the time-out interval are described in the following SAS Notes:

  • SAS Note 55885: "SAS® Studio might time out while a submitted program is running"
  • SAS Note 55886: "SAS® Studio times out in two or three hours regardless of the preference setting"

Fixes for these issues are provided in Hot Fix U22001. However, even with Hot Fix U22001 applied, the time-out interval for SAS Studio Mid-Tier is limited to 12 hours.

To access the hot fix for the middle tier, click the Hot Fix tab in this note.
